Table plans for up to 50 guests are A2 (42 x 59cm), and table plans with more than 50 guests are A1 (59 x 84cm). You can choose to have your plan made in portrait or landscape orientation, with calligraphy and illustration in any colour you wish.
Choose white or ivory for your background colour, or if you're feeling adventurous you could have pale pink or blue to fit your wedding theme! Let us know about your wedding flowers. We can use one flower all the way around your plan, or incorporate several from your bouquet in a pattern. The most popular designs are roses and ivy, but this design really lends itself to any flower and we've drawn everything from celandines to saffron, wild roses to sunflowers on other commissions!
Tables are handwritten directly onto artist's mountboard, which has the high quality surface we need to get a smooth calligraphy finish. The flower border will be sketched, then illustrated in ink and paints by our calligrapher. The entire board is then affixed to a sheet of lightweight 5mm foam board, which we use to keep your plan straight and stiff so you can stand it on your venue's easel or even propped on a table.
Ordering is nice and easy. Email us with your wedding date and number of guests (approximate numbers are fine). Let us know the flowers you're having at your reception so we can incorporate them into your border design.
We'll email you back with a provisional work date for your order, and ask for a deposit so we can book you in. Please note the deposit is non-refundable. Then, a week or so before our work date, we'll need your final guest list and the rest of your payment. We'll make up your table plan and it will be in the post within a week!
Remember we also supply handwritten table names and numbers, and place cards with calligraphy to co-ordinate your reception stationery.
