Table plans for up to 50 guests are A2 (42 x 59cm), and table plans with more than 50 guests are A1 (59 x 84cm).
You can choose to have your plan made in portrait or landscape orientation, with your venue illustrated below or amongst the tables. We'll use a white or ivory board.
Tables are handwritten directly onto artist's mountboard, which has the smooth, high quality surface our calligrapher requires.
The venue illustration will be created from photographs, sketched in pencil then finished in ink and subtle watercolours. When finished, the entire board is then affixed to a sheet of lightweight 5mm foam board, which we use to keep your plan straight and stiff so you can stand it on your venue's easel or even propped on a table.
Ordering is nice and easy. Email us with your wedding date and number of guests (approximate numbers are fine). Let us know the calligraphy style you'd like, and send us a photograph of your venue. Photos can be sent by email, or show us a link to an image on Flickr or your venue's website. Photographs must be at least 1000 pixels wide with good detail of your venue, so we can recreate it accurately for you.
We'll email you back with a provisional work date for your order, and ask for a deposit so we can book you in. Please note the deposit is non-refundable. Then, a week or so before our work date, we'll need your final guest list and the rest of your payment. We'll make up your table plan and it will be in the post within a week!
Remember we also supply handwritten table names and numbers, and place cards with calligraphy to co-ordinate your reception stationery.
